Our stay at the Paris was lavish to the max ...
opposite Bellagio where Spring had sprung ...
gorgeous Murano glass flowers adorned the foyer ceiling ...
flowers arrangements, spring parasole's swung in the breeze ...
rows of Poppies in full bloom ...
gorgeous Hyacinths sent out the aroma of spring ...
carpets of Tulips and Asters ...
across a small bridge ...
fun water fountains didn't spill a drop ...
where we Ooooo - ed and Ahhhh - ed
at real butterflys living the Bellagio life ...
gorgeous ...
so close to nature ...
in the extremes of Vegas ...
delicate blue wings ...
they were curious too ...
while a mere second away from the beauty of nature ...
extravagnt shopping waited ...
like this 60 cms foot stool ...
a luxury tatoo parlour drew pictures on skin ...
and people pumped poker machines ...
where time stood still ...
under a painted sky ...
where you had no idea of night or day!
You have to see it to believe it!
Loving reliving it ...
sorting through the zillions of photo's I took ...
and
reminiscing courtesy of Kim's Sunday Selections here .

Ah, that's how they get you, isn't it? When you're gambling your dollars away, they really don't want you noticing how time is slipping away too!
We stayed at the Bellagio last time we were in Vegas and it was wonderful to look out of the window to those incredible fountains.
Jay has commented using the line that I would have used. The extremes in Vegas seem to be very very extreme. But rather than dwell on gambling and misery I am focusing on that gorgeous footstool, If I was any good with a needle and thread I would make myself a hat like that to wear to my daughter wedding.
I love to travel, which I can't do much nowadays, but the idea of it and sharing vicariously, I can still enjoy. Love your series of photos. I'd love to see the Chihuly glass ceiling one day. Showing my ignorance, but where does Jay's the alluring quote come from?
Love the umbrellas and the glass flowers, and so hard to reconcile the two sides of the space in my mind.
Kim, I could soooo see you in a hat like that! :)
Those night photos are amazing. I've always wanted to go to Paris, but somehow haven't quite managed to get there.
You have done an excellent job of research and writing.
