well, look out Melbourne here comes Sydney!!!

Sydney's Powerhouse Museum has got it happening April 30 with ...

Discover textiles, thread, knitting and embroidery during a weekend packed with hands-on activities for all ages. Drop into one of the many craft zones to try something new, led by creative professionals and textile geniuses who’ll take you from craft novice to craft goddess!

In our First Timer’s Zone: In the Loop join members of the Lace Guild and lace-making Museum Volunteers who will show you the basic techniques of Bobbin lace making, tatting and crocheting.

Test your knitting skills with our super-sized 3 metre long Knitting Needles and 1 metre high French Knitting Nancy. Tea cosies were never made this way!

Contribute to making the biggest recycled plastic bag tapestry you have ever seen at the Big Punk Tapestry!

In the Children in the loop! Zone, join hands-on activities for families and children including knitting, lace-making and paper weaving (suitable for ages 4 and over).
