Inner West Women's Shed's CQ project update ...

The ladies of Inner West Women's Shed were sceptical when I suggested we start a project called ...
"Doing My Block".

 

A title I borrowed from years spent in the world of Crazy Quilting.

 

A number of the women had no sewing skills, absolutely none ...

some volunteered to embellish two blocks ...

There's still six blocks in progress ...

that will culminate in a glorious wall hanging ...

to be raffled as a fund raiser.

 

The women are amazed & very chuffed with themselves. ☺



Absent but not idle ...

From a mere "how come there's no women's shed?"...

"Inner West Women's Shed" was formed on April 17, 2013. 

First of many tasks was to create bunting ...
some of the women each volunteered to create a letter.

The bunting debuted at a community expo last week.
