TEN SOLD ... ARTISANARCHY Sales ...

Did I tell you I sold ten of my works ...
at the recent 'ARTISANARCHY' exhibition?

I combined new & old by hand crafting chains from
brass & copper wire as well as forged, brushed steel
wire usually found on building sites & outback fences.
Each necklace was adorned with carefully selected
treasured components that whisper a story from
somewhere past.

Thank You for your appreciation!

Please click on each image for a closer look.

Christmas Surprise = Potted Herbs ...

This year we all agreed no presents for adults ...
spend it all on the kids!

It was a wonderful idea ...
probably the beginning of a new tradition!

However we couldn't help ourselves ...
all buying a little something for each other!

This gorgeous surprise was selected & planted by
sweet little green thumbs & Mummy ...
even with no lamb yet ...
the wafting aroma is deelish.

A Pinch & A Punch + Blossom's heatwave cure + Picasa ...wins =

It's a sweltering 40 degrees outside ...
a good brush was the cure for Blossom ...
she's much less furry ...
in the gorgeous 24 degrees of home!

SOoooooo in keeping with a new month ...
full of new happenings ...
I decided to go with the flow ...
for the time being ...
and paid Google / Picasa $2.49 a month for storage!!

But ...
Don't think I've weakened ...
once the pending exhibition is under control ...
I'll be on the job ...
ditching the ransom that's Google / Picasa.

Love to hear any tips on how to beat the burglars ...
but ...
for now ...
we're enjoying the coolness of home!
Hope you are too ♥

Posting ... nope ... Picasa has put a stop to that idea ...

                                                              I'm stumped Darlings ...
Picasa says I've used my limit.

Last week when I found the mistakes I'd made ...

like downloading the pics from my iPhone & and over!...

I deleted hundreds and hundreds of pics ...
therefore the Picasa space I made was mega ...
                                                       NOT.

Picasa says have to buy more space ???

Love it if anyone can help me sort out this schmozzle please!

Plus right now am having trouble posting Ggggrrrrr...

will you look at this mess ...

Not Happy !!!

From the nerve centre ...

Aussie Curves lovelies theme this week is 'Strapless' ...
there's nothing in my wardrobe sans straps ...
hence me not appearing!

I'm flat chat, loving being back on the chain gang ...
watch this space there's stuff a happening!

MIA for a week + silly me + no Aussie Curves Pastels + All OK now ...

I've mentioned before how I'm techno - tarded ...
this week has been a shining example.

After finally figuring out how to take photo's on my iPhone ...
I didn't figure out how to not download them each time ...
I had a new batch ...
resulting in me having almost 1000 pics ...
resulting in Picasa telling me no more storage spce ...
resulting in me deleting the iPhone pics folder ...
resulting in me losing most of my pics ...
EeeeeeeeeKkkkkkkkkkkk ...
get my drift???

Thankfully am all sorted ...

PASTELS is the Aussie Curves theme this week ...
not a pastel to be seen in my wardrobe ...
so I'm sitting this one out.

Back to normal transmission.

Aussie Curves = Polka Dots / Spots = None for me ...

No 'Polka Dots' post from me this week.

The only Polka Dots or Spot round here are the ones in front of my eyes!

I've racked the brain as to why there's not one single spotted garment or accessory in my wardrobe ... only reason I can think of is in the first year of sewing in high school we had to make hideous pair of bloomers.

Why ???? 15 year old girls sewing clown size bloomers?

The 1957 education curriculum had a lot to answer for!

We had to supply the fabric and Mum bought shiny poplin in a menopause mauve color with white spots about the size of a ten cent piece. I remember being so embarrassed at the fabric ... it was the rock n roll era bloomers or not!

So that my Darlings seems to be the only reason I can come up with as to why there's never been a spot to be seen in my wardrobe since.

I'll be very much enjoying the Aussie Curves 'Polka Dot' posts.

Blogtoberfest 21 = Aussie Curves = Breaking the rules ...

I usually break all the rules ...
but after seeing what happens to people ...
who wear fur ...
this and a couple of other beauties I own...
only get an airing ...
on a hanger ...
on an occasion like this.

Wish there was some kind of rule ...
that could be put in place where you could ...
wear fur purchased prior to a certain date.

Pop over and check out how the other Aussie Curves ladies ...
