these Aussie coins were uncovered in a small plastic bag.

I took the money to 'which' bank ...

 was told we can't accept this money to exchange ...

BUT ...

we can take it, give you a letter of receipt ...

then send the coins to Melbourne ...

which should take about three weeks.

Mmmm so 'which' bank don't accept dirty money!

I'll soak the silver in jewellery cleaner overnight ...

use the copper in an art project.

So dirty money ...

isn't regarded as legal tender in this day and age!

I failed the FatMumSlim challenge as I bought nothing for the post today ...
I was too flabbergasted after my visit with 'which' bank!!!

At first I was EeUuWwwwww ...

on a closer look I saw the beauty ...

and thought ...

this is no different to anything made from leather.

After reading ...

Freire, who obtains her materials from tannery waste, doesn’t comprehend the outrage. “All of the leather used is a byproduct of the meat industry and the nipples are a byproduct of that leather production,” she writes on her Facebook wall. “Their use is absolutely no different to any use of leather, the source is exactly the same. To specifically attack me for using the most narrative part of the animal seems strange when everyone who uses leather is doing exactly the same thing, it is just more abstract and therefore more socially acceptable
