imagine my face ...

this mountain of a man was half in front of me ...

it broke the ice with the woman next to me ...

as we looked at each other rolling our eyes!!!

Shy, retiring me, spoke to the usherette ...

an hour later the woman next to me was given a better seat ...

I was too ecstatic to care ...

I looked over and around the mountain ...

first half of the show was acoustic ... OMG!

The staff were hot on people taking photo's ...

I felt like a naughty school girl ...

so remained restrained!

Second half was all sound, lights, the voice, Scots pipers!

Singing, clapping, screaming, yahoooing ... that was just me!

I'm there again Friday night ... bring it on ...

If you could have any music group or musician play at a party, who would you hire? John Farnham and his band ... no doubt about it

Name three things to be happy about today. Today ... a sunny day with cherished friends, bagging a bargain and scrumptious food - what more is there?

How do you release frustration? I've learnt not to dwell. The twerp, the frustater is usually oblivious - therefore the only person frustrated is me so ... I'm Over It ... pronto!

Writer Island - MAGIC ...

I've been stumped with the Magic prompt this week!

Aussie's would know the lyrics of John Farnham's "Don't you know it's Magic ..." which embedded itslef in my noggin upon reading the prompt! Despite searching for a clip so the tune could drive you all nuts too - nope, you're out of luck!

I dawdled with the idea of that "Quick Change Act" (click to see clip) performed on both Australia and America's "So you think you've got talent" show - now there's some good old fashioned magic.

I pondered on preaching about the magic of life, health, how fortunate we are compared to ... but decided that's been done ...

Based on that, I've decreed Herb Urban to be magic ... mission accomplished!
