that works so hard amazes me ...

 like an old Meccano set ...

 I love peering skyward ...

 the design is breathtaking from every angle ...

 from Observatory Hill ...

or on a rainy day ...

Sydney Harbour Bridge fascinates me!

Staying opposite Penn Station was a dream ...

we laughed and laughed at these ...

especially watching massive NYC cops in them ...

 Ahhhh the home of Project Runway ...

the only way to see the sights ...

 mind blowing antique stores ...

 fire escapes like we'd seen in the movies ...

words will never describe ...
the feeling of standing in Times Square ...

 this sight made our day...

we found New York streets are ...
ideal for ankle breaking ...

but every stumble was worth it ...
OK, OK Haaaaaaaa ... 
this was outside Madam Tussauds !!!

Blogtoberfest 7 a theme = My Favourite Things = Drawers ...

... one of my fave things are sets of drawers!

The set in the middle bottom row ...

were built by my Dad in 1950s ...
when I inherited these ...
I was surprised & thrilled to find ...

my Dad had collected much of the same stuff I collect now! 

Top left hand side set ...

came from my Grandma's Singer sewing machine.

Top middle row is a bargain find ...

112 cms tall cabinet with 24 drawers.

Sets of drawers become treasure troves ...
as they usually end up holding treasures ...

that you sometimes forget you owned!
