Soar / sore
Gadzooks - have you gals been on the same wavelength – flabbergasting prompt!
Soar – when a silly old woman hit me, causing me to soar across the front of her 'vintage' car. Judging by the contusions on my right side plus the gaping hole in my new black top, the said motor vehicle was equipped with rear vision mirrors attached to each side of the bonnet … I contemplate … were they specifically designed to gouge my flesh, break my fall or as an aid to soar?
OR ::
Sore – splayed across the bitumen, my eyes opened, flummoxed, I heard the too old driver of the said motor vehicle exclaim “she broke my windscreen” … imagine how sore she could have been had I been capable of rising and punching her in the nose?

Glad you're back. Looking forward to the stories and pictures - so glad you're here to tell them!
She would have deserved a sore nose too!
Welcome back! It is good to be philosophical about it.
Hope you're recovering well.
oh if you had given her the old one two,, what i wouldn't have given to be there!!!!!!
Too bad that you weren't in any condition to give her what she deserved! Welcome back!
holy cow! Is that why you haven't been around Red?? You got hit by a &9%**@ CAR! YIKES! thank goodness you are okay now. Wish you could find her and pop her a good one! :))
OUCH! Hope she was sore when she got home, to think that her windscreen was more important than a person! Hope you are OK.

She deserves it!

Yikes. Sorry about your accident and glad to see that you are recovering.
Humor and good writing keeps us sane.
My son the LAPD cop-early in his career-had to arrest a 90 year old woman for driving an uninsured, unregistred car , she had no loicense and was wrapped in a blanket!
He drove her home! No one was injured.
No sores, no soaring.
Ouch is right! Still laughing beats crying any day. Great story!
fact meets fiction! cool!
Oh my gosh, I hope this tale is not true, my sense it that it is! Ouch, darn and drat! Still, well written and fun!
