First noticed (apart from sensory overload of a 'singer') ...
was the fab knitting!
Stretched across the main wall, round thick, tall pillars...
needles had obviously been click clacking for months ...
I instantly thought Grrl+dog had plained and purled her genius ...
but no...
Kings Cross Knitters created the magic?
fabulously crowded to the max ...
we made a contribution to the fabulous White Girls ...
we adored these handmade mushrooms installed throughout ...
we yelled to hear the stall holders and each other ...
we loved how accessible and set out it was compared to years gone by...
we loved enchanted forest treats ...
We saw a crowd five deep ...
we waited and waited ...
Taaaa Daaaaaa ...
we discovered Gaye Naismith of Gaye Abandon with her ...
each bought a pair ...
mine are the short black ...
We love them!
we sauntered off into the night ...
agreeing 'cutesy' product overload + way too many brooches!
Me still taking pics ...
I love Carriageworks ...
and looking back ...
we imagined the guys from MasterChef ...
running down this exact space.
We dined out in Enmore ... Happy Mothers Day to me :-)
so very happy...
Thank YOU Darling MJ. xo

The mushrooms are magical, it sounds like you had a great time at the Finders keepers...and what a collection of ties you have!
I can tell you collect dust in your house :) Just like me!
Now that, THAT is a veritable Mothers Day shindig. Arm warmers and all.
