Weaving Recycled Coca Cola labels ... things go better with Coke in Peru ...

Some things are better the second time around.
Case in point: Ecoist’s collection of fashion accessories designed and made entirely from repurposed Coke Cola labels.
Ecoist sources its raw materials from Coke manufacturers in Peru (rescuing the misprinted or discontinued), and local women artisans weave labels into a variety of bags and clutches

That's an interesting find. I took the kids to a children Sydney City Council X'mas concert last year and did you know that they make show bags out of their Sydney Festival banners. You only have to make a donation of a gold coin and you get all these great goodies and a recycled bag made from a banner. I made sure the kids picked ones with the word Sydney in it.

What a fantastic find. I've been thinking about a birthday present for a friend and she would love one of the necklaces.

Have a great weekend.
