My week has been blissfully busier than usual ...
International Women's Day had me thinking about my maternal family ...
(that little freckle face with the ribbon in her hair is Moi)
and paternal ancestors who unknowingly made life so easy for us today ...
my heart was in melt mode being at Sydney Craft Expo with Belle ...
we were three generations ...
thrilled to see this treasure has been re-published as a Collectors Edition ...
no more seeing it selling for $50 on ebay ...
buying bananas instead of chocolate @ $8.99 a kilo ...
hope the growers are getting that money ..
finding some gems at a garage sale ...
meandering on MOST :: Marrickville Open Studio Trail yesterday ...
and feeling excited about being here in June!
So how was your week?
Pop over to Kim's for more Sunday Selections.

I love artist studio trails, the one up my way is relatively new and I'll be interested to see if there are any new ones to visit this winter...
oh lovely pic of you Cherie! I used to LOVE to go down to Woolloomoo to see the big Ships.
What a great photo of your maternal family. Aren't you cute ;-)
And so is Belle, who is obviously very much enjoying herself.
Those bananas are expensive! Is that a special banana holding device?
I love the two old photos of your family!
I like the old photos as well. I was talking to a friend yesterday about how this generation of women dont really understand how lucky they are. I didnt realise the cookbook was getting that rare, I am sure I have a copy of it somehwere.
thanks for joining in :)
That's a very full week! Love the ancestor photos. :)
As for the bananas, you could buy Fair Trade, then you'd know the growers would get the right price! I do when I can, but the supermarkets don't always have them. *Sigh*
