A Norfolk Pine on Botany Road Sydney ...

Botany Road Sydney is a main arterial road leading from the outskirts of the city to Botany Bay where oil tankers unload, container ships dock.

Botany Road is the main drag from Sydney Airport through a highly industrial, dirty, grimy area.

Heavy trucks chug and pollute Botany Road 24/7.

The other day the Diva and I discovered these gigantic Norfolk pines.

I fell in love with this tree ... I felt sorry for it too ...

... till I had a really close look at the trunk ...

... and discovered little Norfolks are growing ...

Isn't this tree beautiful, amazing?

It has to be at least 20 metres tall ...

... and thriving in the grime ...

...does ya heart good doesn't it?

Click on the photos if you'd like a closer look!
