Flea Market Finds ...

This very old & battered, tiny leather purse measures 6 cms x 3.5 cms ...
I'm told it's a 'Sovereign holder' ...
the two holders are on a silver base and are well sprung so sovereigns will never dislodge ...
more reseach required on this one ...
cost a mere $5.

Six gorgeous brass napkin rings $2 ...
and don't ask me why I liked this ???
Probably part of an old industrial sewing machine ...
the larger wheel spins easily ...
and would have been operated using a leather belt  ...
at the other end is a similar bobbin threader /spindle ... cost $4.
It moves, is unusual & one day will be something interesting!
As always I'm a happy Flea Market finder ...
you'll see more wonderful finds at Sophie's here

How cool is that purse?! And I can see why you were taken with the mechanical piece - it is intriguing!
